Announced last night that they were separating- and then after the show it said that on June 22nd, which was yesterday- that they actually filed for divorce. 
Now I know after the months of seeing magazine covers (like the one above) telling the world about cheating scandals and criticizing their parenting techniques- WE ALL SAW IT COMING. But I am still really sad about it.It is always sad to see a family split up, but especially a family with so many kids at such a young age. I hope their kids will take the transition well and that Jon and Kate can salvage some part of their marriage and still maintain a civil relationship.
2. Secret Life
For those of you who have never heard of this show... it is basically about a bunch of high school kids, one of which gets pregnant the first time she has sex and yatta yatta yatta, you can guess the rest. Well last night was the premier of season 2. 
So you see the blond girl in the cheer leading uniform above? Well her character is this super nice Christian girl who firmly believes in saving sex for marriage. I was so happy when I started watching this show because it had a character that believed in abstinence. Great role model, right?
WELL... in last nights show she apparently "prayed about it for a month" and decided that she was ready to have sex with her boyfriend. and then they did it! So much for my great role model.
I was disappointed to say the least.
Moving on.
3. Here Come the Newlyweds
Chris and I have been watching this show together every Monday night for FHE for the past 5 or so weeks. We are crazy in love with. I think everyone should watch it. We can obviously relate a lot to the contestants since we are fairly newly married too, but more than anything it is just a fun and funny feel good show.
Nothing Earth shattering happened it it, just wanted to share the LOVE :)

we love watching Here Come the Newlyweds! we saw it on the first week and thought it looked interesting so we started watching it and now we are addicted!
