Winter in Rexburg

Winter came late this year in Idaho, but oh how it came. It has been snowing on and off everyday this week, and everything is just covered! This is what the car said when I drove to work this morning

Kinda makes you cold just looking at it, huh? Driving in the snow has been a great learning experience for me. I was very apprehensive at first, but I think I am getting the hang of it. We learned something new about our Camry with the new snow and ice... When you slide on the ice, and your wheels are spinning below you, this little light flashes on the dashboard with a picture of a car on a curvy road. I thought this was terribly ironic, because it is so distracting when it comes on! That's all I look at! and if I'm spinning out, shouldn't I be focused on the road? Don't know what they were thinking with that one...

Even though the snow on the road is dirty and gross, the snow makes everything else absolutely beautiful, I love watching it fall in the lights.

My husband is a champion!!! :)

Chris's soccer team won the intramural soccer Championship Game last night! He was SUPER excited about it! This is his fourth semester playing and has made it to the championship before, but this is the first time his team has won it all! aaaand, his team came into the finals ranked LAST, so in your face! hahaha! Go Chris!

Thanksgiving Thank You

Remember I wrote about Chris and I being in a LDS Philanthropies thank you card? Well its all put together now and this is the photo they chose!

The two other students who work here are Brett, in the upper right, and Lauren in the bottom left. The girl in the bottom right is Brett's fiance.

I love how "Fall-ish" it looks!

That is something I will definitely miss when we finally move out of Idaho for good, the beautiful changing leaves!
